With chants of “No to 2007” and “Now is better”, a small group of well-spirited marchers took to the streets of Paris on New Years eve and demanded a moratorium on the future.
Even as the clocks struck midnight and it became clear to all that their words had not halted the succession of time, the crowd shouted “No to 2008” – presumably their new slogan for the year’s campaign.
I love France. I love the French. This is so mad, it’s perfect. Bon chance.
